Covid Related Youth Program

Cyrus Foundation is proud to announce that as a Canadian charity, our proposal for funding to offer online support to youth during the COVID-19 pandemic has been accepted. We have been awarded a $50,000.00 grant from the Government of Canada Emergency Community Support Fund, administered through the United Way of Greater Toronto. The grant will enable us to serve youth and their families who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 global crisis.

We will be offering online academic tutoring services (mostly on Zoom, WhatsApp, and email) to K-12 students at no cost to the students and their families. Qualified tutors will work individually and as a group with registered students over six weeks, and significantly enhance students’ academic and artistic skills. At the end of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Cyrus Foundation.

In the fall 2020, the Cyrus Foundation is offering three online courses and tutoring to children and youth ranging from 5 to 17 years old.
